I can’t even really explain how amazing Ruby is! From the moment I enquired, Ruby was so friendly, kind and compassionate, and she was completely understanding of the ‘vision’ I wanted for my wedding make up. I don’t wear much make up at all, so the vision was to keep everything quite natural, but still feel special on the day. The trial make up and hair we did was so much fun, and Ruby has such a nice space for this to take place. I absolutely was obssessed with both my hair and make up at the trial, and it was so great to have one person I trusted who could do both so well. Communication in between was amazing, and Ruby sent loads of skin care top tips along the way. When it came to the actual wedding day, we had such a brilliant morning. Ruby also did my mums make up, and listened to her feedback, and my bridesmaids also said it was the best hair/make up they’d had for a wedding! Ruby was calm, kind and even helped do up the buttons on my wedding dress when we were pushed for time! Also, my make up and hair lasted the entire day too! I found Ruby on instagram and instantly knew that I wanted her to do my makeup for my wedding. From getting in contact with Ruby to check availability, to booking and up to the big day, Ruby constantly reached out to me to confirm everything and regularly sent tips of how to be wedding ready. Before the day, Ruby let me know what makeup to buy in case I needed to do any touch ups in the evening and even planned my getting ready schedule timing for myself and my wedding party so that was one less job for me to worry about. When the big day finally arrived, Ruby made me feel so relaxed and really helped to calm my nerves. She made me and my bridesmaids look and feel like royalty and after the wedding my bridesmaids and mum have kept saying how smooth and relaxed the getting ready process was and how they would recommend Ruby to any friends getting married.
