Hello My name is Ruby!

I have been offering hair and make up services for nearly 10 years and have a passion for making everyone I work with look and (more importantly) feel their best in the skin they are in.
I am so full of love for the job that I get to do, I feel privileged to be able to use the skills I have worked hard on to make an impact on one of the most important days of women's lives - their wedding day!

My favourite part of my job is watching the transformative effect that takes place when someone sits in my chair. I am a firm believer of using make up and hairstyling almost as a form of therapy, to boost your mood, self-esteem, build confidence & harness that incredible power that we all have inside. 

The services I offer can meet you at whatever stage you are in life, whether it be a makeover for a special occasion such as a school prom, family event or date night... right through to your wedding day!

In my personal life, I am a mama to my girls, Mabel & Delilah and my French Bulldog Frank. I live with my partner and am actually in the process of wedding planning myself, although we are taking our time. I like to think I'm one of life's listeners... one of the beautiful parts about my job is getting to meet people from all walks of life. A good day for me is one where I have worked doing what I love, come home to spend time with my family and put my feet up with a cup of tea at the end of the day!

I  believe that in this industry, you can never stop learning. I have enrolled in several courses since my initial training back in 2013 to better my skills and further my knowledge. I ensure I always keep up to date with current trends in make up and beauty and I am frequently inundated by friends and family members for product recommendations and solving skincare & make up dilemmas!​
 
I always get asked what my favourite brands are to use! It's an impossible question to answer! I work with a range of the very best luxury makeup, hair prodcucts and skincare such as Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Nars and many, many more.  Working regularly means that my extensive makeup kit is constantly updated, following new trends and the latest technology to keep you looking flawless all day and all night.
